I don’t have to put up with this

You don’t need to be burdened with my struggle; you have enough of your own. You know the moment of decision, of wondering if a situation is worth the trouble. “Is this fight necessary?” you may ask.

What if the issues fought for are irrelevant, whereas the strength gained from perseverance will be called upon for a future trial?

I ask God today, do I need to fight this one, or is it a battle I should choose not to fight?

1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life of which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Be encouraged, dear ones!

Don’t Forget to Dance

Before you go to bed tonight, don’t forget to dance. Do a little jig… Ha, ha.

I love the exhilaration, the release, and the expression allowed through dance. This is a great way to relieve tension in the body, which can make a world of difference for a good night’s sleep.

Let’s get moving and enjoy the gift that God gave us: the freedom to move!

Aside from artistic, emotional, and physical benefits, let us remember that the ultimate joy of dancing is found in worship to God. I find myself worshipping  as I shake to my zumba routines. This spirit of power-praise carries over into other areas as well, reminding me to worship through struggles and temptations throughout the day.

Praise is power. Dancing is a tool created for praise. We are vessels designed to use the tools given us.

Shake it up, Baby 😉

Cheers,
